Our famed gastronomic XO Chilli Sauce was first introduced at The Peninsula’s Spring Moon Chinese restaurant back in the 1980s. A revered Chinese condiment and a Peninsula signature, this rich savoury sauce is made to a secret recipe with a gourmet blend of dried scallops, shallots, garlic, chilli, dried shrimp, shrimp roe and more.
Today, known as the ‘Caviar of the East’, our XO Chilli Sauces is ideal for cooking, served as a dipping sauce, or simply serve on toast or crackers as a flavoursome snack – a twist on tradition!
半島嘉麟樓中菜廳於八十年代首次推出著名自家秘製的XO辣椒醬，旋即贏得「東方魚子醬」之美譽。半島XO辣椒醬是半島皇牌中式調味醬料，一直以來備受讚譽，將瑤柱、乾蔥、蒜蓉、辣椒、蝦乾、蝦籽及其他材料以獨特秘方製作，鮮香濃郁，口感豐富，搭配各種佳餚均能錦上添花，令人食指大動。
除了用作烹調可口菜式，醬料更可作為蘸醬及配以多士，研製風味小食。
